Hot Tips from you

See the beautiful woman in the lower, right hand corner of this band of wild Irishmen?  That would be our own Megan Barber.  You probably know her name from her articles in the Gazette.  Yes, those are all brothers and sisters.  As you can deduce, she's from a LARGE Washington D.C. family.  Meg has tipped me off to a band called Celtic Woman www.celticwoman.com that will be at Red Rocks,www.redrocksonline.com July 1 and 2.  She's says it would be worth the trip.

 Here's some another Red Rocks tip thanks to Dan Fenaughty, local lawyer and music aficionado.  He says, "The most effective songwriter of the 20^th century is coming out of the shadows, on tour, and coming to Red Rocks this spring.  You won’t see him live again (he’s well over 70- his first book was published in 1956) and he wrote some of rock’s weightiest, thought-provoking songs. He’s Leonard Cohen.  He is a lousy singer, but that’s not the point.  Even Katie (Alex, of course) likes songs he has written (even though she doesn’t know he wrote them).
